Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 1, 2026. Questions? Email account@guzeltravels.com.

This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or our travel-planning services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain English on purpose.

Who we are

Bright Horizon Travels ("we", "us", "our") is a travel planning studio incorporated in Pennsylvania, USA, with a registered address at 4300 Rocky Road, Philadelphia, PA 19111. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website (https://guzeltravels.com) and through our planning and booking services.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly — typically your name, email address, phone number, travel dates, destinations of interest, passenger details required to issue tickets and reservations, dietary or accessibility notes you choose to share, and payment information processed through our PCI-compliant payment partner. We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our website: IP address, device type, browser, pages viewed, and referring URL.

How we use information

Legal basis

Where applicable law requires one, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (planning and operating your trip), legitimate interests (responding to inquiries, improving our service, fraud prevention), legal obligation (tax, accounting, travel-industry reporting), and consent (non-essential cookies and marketing emails).

Sharing information

We share information only with the parties necessary to deliver the trip you have asked us to plan: airlines, hotels, ground operators, guides, and our payment processor. We may also share information with our accountant, our IT service providers under a written data-processing agreement, and with regulators if legally required. We do not sell personal information. We do not share data with advertising networks.

International transfers

If your trip involves countries outside the United States, we will share necessary information (names, passport details, dates) with suppliers in those countries. By instructing us to plan such a trip, you agree to this transfer.

Retention

We retain client records for seven years to meet U.S. tax and travel-industry recordkeeping requirements. Inquiries that do not result in a booking are deleted after 24 months. You may request earlier deletion subject to our legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you reside, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information; to object to processing; to data portability; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Residents of California may have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and to opt out of any sale or share (we do not sell or share for cross-context advertising).

To exercise any right, email account@guzeltravels.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

See our Cookie Policy for full details. We use essential cookies and, with your consent, simple first-party analytics.

Security

We use HTTPS across the site, restricted-access administrative systems, and encrypted storage for sensitive records. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected travelers and the relevant authorities if a breach affecting personal information occurs.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information except as part of a family booking initiated by a parent or guardian.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will post the updated version here and, where appropriate, notify clients by email.
