Questions travelers ask before the first call.

If yours isn't here, send a short note — we'll add it.

How far in advance should we start planning?

For most international trips, four to six months is comfortable. Honeymoons, holiday-season travel, and African safaris should be eight to twelve months out. We do take occasional last-minute trips if a planner has capacity.

Do you handle visas?

We provide the documentation you need and walk you through the application, but the application itself stays with you. For complex cases (E-visa stacks, transit visas, residency proofs) we refer to a partner attorney in Center City.

What if something goes wrong while we are traveling?

Call the studio line. After hours it forwards to whichever planner is on duty that week. We have rerouted travelers around strikes, missed connections, lost passports, and one unfortunate volcanic eruption.

Do you book travel insurance?

We strongly recommend it and will point you to two independent brokers we trust. We do not sell insurance ourselves — that keeps us neutral when claims happen.

Can you book just flights?

Yes. We have a flat $400 planning fee for air-only work, refunded if we cannot beat your best published fare. We are especially useful for award redemptions and multi-stop business-class routings.

Do you work with travelers outside Philadelphia?

Yes. About 80% of our work is with travelers elsewhere in the U.S. We plan over phone and video, ship documents, and meet in person if you ever pass through town.

Are you ASTA / IATAN accredited?

Yes to both, plus a Virtuoso partnership for our luxury hotel relationships. Our seller-of-travel registration is on file with the Pennsylvania Attorney General.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or accessibility needs?

Yes. Both are handled in writing with every supplier on the itinerary. If a property cannot meet a need, we do not book it.
